Ok it wasn't in the same league as 1 and 2, but was a decent enough film all the same.

When I had finished it, I still needed my hit of Mafia Drama so I acquired the Godfather movies. 40 minutes into the first one I turned it off. So very boring. I consider it one of the worst movies I have ever seen. It's likely I was spoiled by the awesomeness of The Sopranos, but unfortunately there is no way back.
