Only for short hair, it widens the tip. Doesn't affect the longer hairs, they're just wide at the tip. Great for stubble tho.
Power through it and grow nothing worse than a smartly groomed excuse of a douche beard wait till you get it to a number 2-3 on the clipper and give it some shape

Is this also the method you used to get your bench to 200kg?
Getting on the juice didn't seem worth it to increase my strength but if it'll give me a Viking beard I'd consider it.

Use conditioner on it and let it soak for a little bit it will pass after a couple days
