tabbouleh and fattoush salads were very refreshing Member 267, 8548 posts SQ 220, BP 165, DL 250635.0 kgs @ 90kgs Eq | Sheridan = strong tough mofo but 800lb deadlifter? I somehow don't think so. I agree with Iain in that I reskon he would be able to do it if powerlifting was all he did though.

I'll see if i can find the article i'm thinking about.

In all fairness 'gear' is rather well used in the majority of proffesional sports where its posetive sides would be of benefit.

technical retard Member 172, 36827 posts SQ 310, BP 205, DL 335850.0 kgs @ 108kgs UnEq | My best mate is a professional rugby player, and not one person in that squad can deadlift or bench press over 250KG or 200KG respectively!! I very much doubt Sheridan can pull that amount!!

Even the Oxford Uni Boat club strength coach here uses it to test his rowers and all they do is pull!

But upper body strength is important. Pressing helps develop upper body strength. Do you need 220kg of raw bench strength to play rugby? Probably not.
