Nice work Dawson mate Happy I like BNJ too, feels a very powerful move. Are you actually jerking the weight or doing them as a push press?

Squats -

A couple of mates wanted to come over and try for a one rep max on squat so thought i'd try my hand at squatting heavy to see how it goes. Haven't trained all week because of work, physio etc so was looking forward to it.


Squats -

60kg x 8
80kg x 5
100kg x 3
120kg x 3
Belt on
140kg x 3
180kg x 2
200kg x 1
210kg x 1 Belt only PB Grin

Well happy with that Grin Everything felt good till the 210kg when my back went but the pain was worth it Tongue


Overhead Barbell walking lunges -

40kg x 20m
40kg x 20m

Then spent about 5 mins throwing the 15kg keg about. Found out I can throw it further one handed than 2 and further with my left than my right even though I'm right handed! You learn something new everyday as the say. I also learnt 10kg can be a massive difference as I'm now in agony lying on the floor but f**k it I got a PB Tongue Back to normal training next week and better back management.

Nicely done mate, hope the pains eased up now.

How's the rehab doing, do you know how many sessions you need?

Thanks bud Happy unfortunately not it's worse than it's ever been but not my disc it's above my left hip. Struggling to walk today and not a good way but it will teach me to not push it too far next time.

Not too bad just annoyingly slow! Think i'm getting booked for an MRI soon to see whats properly going on. For the time being it's a lot of heat treatment, foam rolling and core strengthening/stability work.

Sorry to hear that. It is good to know they're finally taking you seriously.

Like you said if you push it you're gonna suffer so keep it dialled down a bit.
