The pressing will come I'm sure, doesn't look bad as it is. 100kg will be there before you know it.

I kinda like btn jerks/push press, haven't done them in a while but once you get them figured they're great fun.

I'm hoping so mate it annoys me how s**t my strict is compared to my push!

I'm going to keep trying it to see how it goes as I've never done it before.

I'm the opposite, my strict is reasonably ok but my push press is terrible. I get about 10kg from the push Unhappy

Same as me, strict is reasonable but get f**k all leg drive on a push press.

Yep. The blokes I train with call me "wet dynamite" its that bad lol. No explosion from my hips or legs at all

Conditioning -

Neglected conditioning for far too long and thought there is no better way to speed up my fat loss than some conditioning! Plus don't want lack of conditioning costing me like it did at points last year. Been hearing a lot about the Bear complex so thought I would give it a go.


Bear complex (power clean, front squat, push press, back squat, push press = 1 rep) 90 seconds rest between rounds -

60kg x 7
60kg x 5
40kg x 7
40kg x 7


Well I under estimated that! 60kg was harder than I thought but don't think having aching legs and shoulders helped lol! Hard but good so will give it a try for awhile.


Keg Loading (20kg, 50kg, 60kg, 80kg) 90 seconds rest between runs -

X 25metres each
X 15 metres each
X 15 metres each


Jesus I knew I was unfit but didn't realise it was that bad! Really need to step it up! Going to try to do some sort of conditioning work at least 3 times a week to try give myself a better chance this year.
