wayne i was giving it a crack in advance of next week!

back is not that bad just would of been stupid to go to wills and do heavy yolk and farmers (you know i could never just go light!)

had a few guys come over to do stones today big sean 20plate jeff from coventry and philidelphia kieran clarke and chris lucas from brum

sean fast but gassed quick jeff doing ok for a firsttimer kieran lapped 180 as a 5th stone in run chris did ok but also gassed quick

how could i resist a little play?

66'' 110kg
60'' 125kg
54'' 135kg
48'' 155kg
42'' 180kg did this 3 times nice easy session need to make myself something a bit heavierWink

had not really considered a minimum age but as clegg junior is 16 lets make it 16!

yes the comp is in melton mowbray in the play close scene of last years bandstand smashing fun!

i have a trainer log which weighs 42.5kg most should be ok with this my big log is 90kg

hoping to have stones from 80kg-255kg (shawn mick clegg?)

will use the round system like powerlifting all groups log then stone then deadlift starting from the 75's and working upwards

hi guys i have been asked to put something on at a local family fun day type thing with tug of war etc

had an idea for something a bit different

log lift 3 attempts

stone lift 3 attempts(to 48")

axle deadlift 3 attempts

largest total wins(like powerlifting)

4 weight classes 75kg 90kg 105kg open

open to any ability strongmen emphasis on fun and raising money for local charitys

£10 entrance fee

get your names down!

this will be an outdoor competition

friday pivot deadlift

320kg x10 reps (put into context my buddy who has a 240 deadlift can do a single with this)

f**ked myself up aggravated an old back injury
