so who believes christian cantwell (american shot putter) benched 260x2 raw?

ME!

Shot putters are proper athletes. The finnish shot putter put away monster lift numbers.

Shot putters tend to be very strong statically. My mate (who is a shot putter) has a strong bench & squat, and he informs me that Myerscough is a beast when it comes to the PL events!

shame he aint such a beast at the shot now he is "clean"

i know a lad who plays for a big clubs academy side he has mentioned the club doctor and special supplements on a few occasions

i find those lifts easy to believe a proffessional power orientated sportsman weighing around 20 stone should manage a 220 bench whether it would be passed by ipf refs is another matter!

years ago i heard jonathon edwards had powercleaned 150 so i emailed him to verify the lift he corrected me as his pb was 155!Grin

I can't believe Dean has bombed with 270 on the bench. I have seen him do 315 in training. This makes it the second worlds in a row. I bet he is not enjoying the banquet.

Siders bombing left the supers wide open - almost anyone of those guys could have won it on a good day.

hi jim as you know it's easy to hit big numbers in training or local comps with little or no presssure, but get to the worlds 3 ipf cat 1 refs and it can be a different story
» BWLA funds??? (Go to post)07-11-2008 @ 19:00
from what i hear each bwla division has it's own funds mostly generated from powerlifters i would guess

and the greedy cannon is trying to get his hands on it

because they are skint and in desperate need of buying some quality weightlifters probably!Grin
