Doms again I need to find a way to bring in some deadlifts without impacting on the erging so much. (do it more often get used to it might work)

Good couple of sessions jt, it can be tough to get on that rower sometimes!

I think you have the right idea with deads, only time I've not suffered much with Doms from squats is when I was squatting 3 / 4 times a week. No way I'm going to be doing that these days though!

What do you think is causing the regression? DOMs from weight training still?

A couple of possibilities, as I am going off HR it could be I am just TOUCH UNDER 100%

It could be my body adjusting from being in good UT1 shape to good TR shape (wishful thinking)

It could also be I am getting further away from the big block of UT1 and 2 training at the star too the programme.

I guess if/when I do the programme again I will have more data to analyse.

I'm having similar at the moment, just a slight drop off on UT1 work, it has to be adaption to the shorter, faster work!

We are synchronised again Grin. Do you think overtraining might be the cause of the pace sliding, or at least fatigue? I had the same again today, just off the pace a bit (HR too high) on the second set.

I took my CoC 1 to work. With 95% effort I did 15 right and 9 left (the way you do them - only setting the 1st rep). My strong workmate couldn't close it.

You are so much better than me at these things.

An avid reader of my log would know BSB = Band Supported Bench

Choke a band around top of the rack and under the bar, Boom off the chest and overloaded lockout so Wayne was close the exercise is similar to what happens in a shirt.

Tough day today (again) 75UT2 I had decided to split it and go steady I did 45mins it was horrible much slower than anticipated at a capped HR of 130. Sulked for a while then put on Fitbit and sat still on sofa for a bit RHR was 70 normally I would expect to see mid to high 50's sitting still in the middle of the day. So binned off the other 30mins, hope to be more normalised tomorrow. Might repeat the HR check before training.

You Flatterer, I have a mate who does a lot of climbing and always goes on about his powerful grip and forearms the No1 soon sorted him out.
