never mate, thats all in the past now. im loving this crazy strongman s**t, i might never be any good but im enjoying my training again. its been a long time since i last enjoyed a 'snatch'.....Wink

Axle deadlift
60kg x 4
100 x 4
140 x 4 grip felt s**te, bit worried.
180 x 5 pulled two more reps but no where near locked out
180 x 7
180 x 8 timed this set to make sure i was under 75secs, just made last rep.

Farmers walk
90kg (each hand) 14m dogs**t
90kg 30m stuck the trusty hook grip on, hurt like f**k but deff helps
90kg 30m again with the hook, thumbs now flat and purple Unhappy

farmers hold
90kg 20secs

f**ked it off there my hands are killing, prob shud have forced another couple of sets out though

Kev are you just gripping the farmers normally like you would a barbell?

Try curving your hand under it so the handle rests in your palm, hard to explain really.

yeah mate just grabbing it and leggin it..

i know what you mean about curving the palm, i thought that might rip my hands tho? my hands are rough as f**k. if the farmers arnt too thick on the day ill hook grip.

How? All the weight is in your palm rather than your fingertips. Only then when your grip begins to go from your palm, does it go into your fingertips, so cant fail to hold on for longer?!

Oh I see, I just find it harder to grip with the palms because it feels thicker, but if that's the thinking behind it I might try it.
