Push press - 80kg to 122.5kg

Strict press - 65kg to 92.5kg (need to do this more often)

CGBP - 80kg to 150kg

Log - 105kg (think I can do more but haven't been near a log in months)

Front squat - 140kg

Zercher squat - 140kg



Here's hoping to better progress this year Grin

Mate thats mental progress! I've been training since i was 15, 35 in March and you kick may arse already! You've only been lifting a year? How old are you bud?

I trained before when I was playing rugby but was doing fitness stuff and bodybuilding stuff as I was 23 1/2 stone of pure fat then dropped to 17.5 stone but then stopped for a year then started lifting for strength last February so it's my first year of strength training as such. I've only been training strongman since May last year. I'm 25 bud and wish I had started training earlier!

Yeah well i did start younger, wasted most of it, hadn't a clue what i was doing lol! Trained with some quality strongmen when i was younger though, was a bit star struck back then but only started to learn something at that point!

Same here mate until about March/April time when I joined here as my training didn't really have any structure to it, was just trying to max out all the time and not doing much else lol! Wasn't till I spoke to Al on here and started training with him that I did anything strongman or have any idea of training/technique on lifting and then speaking to people like yourself helped my training no end.

SOunds good then mate, on course for a good year by looks of it! I really miss strongman, awesome feeling competing in it but looking forward to what PL has to offer too now!

I'm hoping so mate! I really hoping my deadlift starts improving again as it's going to kill me in comps! Yea I love it, best hobby i've had by a long shot Happy I reckon PL will have the same buzz.

Hope so bud! Your deads are like my squats, always a weakness somewhere, just keep at it and more will come in time for sure!
