Will keep building the 5 rep max for squat and deadlift and train around the shoulder, got to fix that still, sometimes you think to yourself is it worth it especially after smashing myself up off and on! How's you and Bryan and plans in coming back soon? | ||

Well it was my shoulder/rotor cuff as well as my bicep on the other arm, I just rested and trained around them and continued to do the excercises from the physio's. They still niggle every so often if I push it too much or tweak them doing something daft. I was still getting pain from my bicep uptill recently untill I got some Cissus(recommended from someone on here) and it has all but diappeared, highly recommended. I will continue to do rehab on them so as to limit the chance of re-injuing myself. | ||

Cleverer than YOU Member 1228, 1046 posts | Thurs 02/02/12 joined a no frills commercial gym called 'the gym' cheap and cheerful, not the heaviest weights in the world but enough for most upper body stuff and enough for squats for reps anyway, unlimited usage 24/7 access and with life changes with the finances need to look at saving like everyone else as the sibscription to my usual venue has increased 50 per cent good place but getting too expensive and still only get access 3 times a week set days and set hours, see what I'm going to do come april as paid for usual venue up til then and signed up to new place monthly basis saving 10 GBP per month! Rehab session: shoulder girdle/lats/biceps Seated dumbell presses: 14kgx8, 20kgx8, 22kgx8, 28kgx8, 30kgx8 Dumbell side laterals: 2x10x12kg Dumbell rear laterals: 2x10x8kg Rotator cuffsx2x12 Bent over rows: 2x8x100kg Pulldowns: 3x10 Dumbell curls: 2x10 External rotations with bands: 2x12 | ||

Your squat numbers are good! Is the gym decent enough for you? I'm lifting only 1x a week now with the powerlifting. squats on a friday and thats it. Is the shoulder getting any better?
