Sorry to see the deadlift session not going so well man.

On the upside, that is some pretty strong shoulder work right there!

Cheers! AT least I've tried and learnt from it which is how I look at it, nothin lost really as just not an effective way to train for deads as unable to get a pb training Bulgarian could not even equal my best so deffo binning it for deads, going back to russian again as more straight forward and more gradual.

I remember you saying about the doubling 200. well done man. That was a really mean session you had there with tonnes of volume AND intensity!
Out of interest, what do you normally do nutritionally after training, up until you go to sleep?

Thanks 3 weeks ago only managed couple of singles now this, next hoping to get a couple of triples with it and push on again. I normally have a meal replacement shake if available, if not normally carry flap jacks or lots of breakfast bars and carb up, then about 1-2 hours later have dinner usually meta or fish with pasta/rice/potatoes or bread, some veg like mixed salad, then a desert, and wash it down with a half portion of weightgainer, then take multivit-multimin, c, b-complex, extra zinc/calcium/magnesium, euchanacia. thats normally it before I sleep always have couple of cups of tea though afterwards. In mornings have creatine tabs and weightgainer high calorie shake as breakfast, very dull and boring but it's all I've got time for before I go to work as I start at 8am, then have lunch either two huge sandwhiches or a dinner in a lunchbox which I can heat in the microwave at work, then have fruit and wash down with a pint of milk. On non-training days when I get home from work, will always have a small meal 2-3 hours before dinner, porridge/cereal/toast/high calorie shake or I'll eat rubbish like crisps/biscuits and tea.

Cheers mate. I'm not a big drinker these days to be honest, plus I will be driving so a relatively tame one for me lol.

Thanks for the details there Ross that's excellent. You seem to get a good variety of stuff in you and pretty consistently also. I'm gonna be trying to adjust my diet a little soon. You keep lean year round (though I know that a lot of that is genetics as well) so I'm just looking for input from different peoples diets to see how stuff goes. Cheers dude and see you Saturday!

Well if all goes to plan want to nail 230 on the 3rd round! I can still eat pretty much anything I want, just don't seem to put on fat, I'm naturally lean and muscular, be interesting to see what you bench at 125!

Could be better but I'm trying could probably up the protein a bit more other than that I'm definatly getting enough calories withoput putting on fat as my body tends to put lean tissue on quicker than fat.

Your bench strength is coming back great Ross, 140 off a 1 board is a very good sign of things to come, plus the PoA 1 board is alot thinner than what the Americans refer to as a 1 board, good job buddy!
