I hope to do something this year as managed to qualify for the equipped British 2 years in a row and qualified for the unequipped British last year but was not able to get down..so hopefully! Cleverer than YOU Member 1228, 1046 posts | SQUAT: warmups: 70kgx5, 70kgx5, 100kgx5, 120kgx3, 140kgx3, 160kgx2, 170kgx2, 180kgx2, 190kgx1, working sets: 200kgx1 easy so went up, 205kgx1 easy but wanted to take this again CRaig called for 210 but against it, 205kgx1 better line here so decided to edge up 2.5kg, 207.5kgx1, not bad quite strong still but stopped as felt quality would drop, volume work: 10x2@180kg, 1st two sets pish 3rd-7th easy and last three stiff and slow but deep! Nothing else to say other than happy with progress as jumped up 7.5kg on last weeks max for the day and upped weight on volume by 10kg so overall a tougher session but got it done, know I'll need to be sensible in coming weeks as need to keep distance btwn weight for singles and doubles and the increments each week will start to drop, but so far a pretty good plan. Just glad I'm off tomorrow as back and legs are cooked. | ||

Cleverer than YOU Member 1228, 1046 posts | BENCH PRESS: warmups: pole shoulder dislocationsx couple sets, 2x5@60kg, 1x3@80kg, 1x1@100kg, 1x1@110kg, 1x1@120kg, 5x1@122.5kg, 8x2@107.5kg bent over rear delt flyes: 5x10 dumbell curls: 2x8 Nothing special just upped the weight this week, shoulder holding up, line was off on some singles until last three were line was good, the doubles were easy, just lower back cramping otherwise would have gone on. Decided only had energy left for some dumbell work so took care f rear delts and biceps to stretch and loosen off for rehab. | ||
