Bulking Up & Cardio?

Hi guys,
As you all know, I'm new to all this so I apologise in advance if this question is a reguler newbie mistake.

As my strength gets better I'm assuming I will bulk up my overall muscle mass which is very welcomed in what I'm trying to achieve.

Would I be right in suggesting that keeping cardio low (15 mins every other day to warm up before workout) is good idea so as not to burn up valuable resources needed to put on muscle mass (protein,carbs,etc)?

u could do cardio to keep fit but then u'd need to compensate in calories

No.....warm up with what ever your working on. Cardio and bulking shouldnt be in the same sentance unless it includes the word "not";

In all seriousness, "cardio" has its place, but not when bulking.

u can bulk and and do cardio

- do more short but high intensity cardio i.e. kettlebell or bb complexes
- hill sprints.
- rowing intervals
- combination of the above

and always increase your calories accordingly

Cardio is a must. It aids recovery, burns fat, keeps the heart healthy, keeps blood pressure down etc. You don't have to go mad,try interval training a couple of times a week.

I think if you haven't got time/facilities to train a lot, then cardio is a very efficient way to keep the ticker in shape.

If you're training loads anyway, then the need is debatable in my opinion.
