Especially when you consider Shane said "I had a lot of sausage last week".

I think he actually said 'this was my best ever week for sausage'!!!!!

Exactamundo. Thing is, it would be preceived to be fine to imply Denise welch is a slag (when, given she's been married for 20+yrs, is doubtful)
But wrong to imply you wouldnt like to get bummed by Thomas

What it is impolitic to imply is that Thomas would rape you.

I think Denise had an affair, naughty !

I hope Tim padlocked her fanny afterwards. (As seems to be the perfect solution to these things).

You might be right mate, I'm old and my memory is failing. He definately implicated himself in multiple sausage activity though - I can't get sacked for that can I?

Its nothing like the above!

Maybe not the cum guzzling bit but it's implying that Gareth Thomas would bum him simply by virtue of being gay and therefore seriously calling Thomas's character into question.

Publicly implying someone is a sexual predator due to their sexuality/race/colour/creed deserves the sack for stupidity if nothing else.

Judging by the photo of the footballer in question on the news site and the level of intelligence and wit he displayed, he wouldn't have a chance of landing Thomas if he wanted to.

As a friend of mine once remarked, "the ones making padlock your arse remarks are always the ones you wouldn't touch with somebody else's, dear".

When someone's first reaction to another person is to fantasise their own potential rape by them, you may well question a lot of things about how they think about the world.

And before anybody jumps the gun, I am not implying that he is gay. I seriously doubt that he has the self-awareness to know this even if he was. He just seems like a bit of a cock.

I think much of this comes down to the fact that a great many footballers of a certain level appear to have been allowed to get through life without reading a book. Or a newspaper. This, coupled with the easy access they have to social networking sites means they can open their poorly educated minds at any and every opportunity.

The whole homophobic thing has gone crazy. It's become unacceptable to even refer to someone as being gay in some places. I got kicked out of a gay bar visted with a couple of gay friends in blackpool for being straight! All for refusing the advances of something I think was male half dressed as female so he complained to management. There are signs by the door of some pubs saying this is a gay bar, straight people not welcome. I'm not in anyway homophobic but I think gay people can be their own worse enemies at times and do nothing to help acceptance even when it really isn't needed these days. Gay Pride marches? Doesn't that kind of add a segregation? If there were straight marches there would be hell on!

Let me get this right lads , are you fellas trying to imply that men actually bum each other with there todgers ??? That sounds a bit gay to me
AvatarCuddles
Travis made the best point, Diane Abbott is a t**t.

Doing her bit for race relations as usual.

I do find it funny when non-homosexuals come out and say that predujice isnt a big problem; well no, for them it probably isnt.

I'm not calling you a liar, but I seriously doubt your Romeo got you kicked out for turning down his advances; he may have spun a line to the bar staff about how you rebuttted him. Women do not get thrown out of bars for turning down the offer of a drink. The main reason there are signs in some gay bars advising straight folks are not allowed is, I would imagine, because of a history of unwanted sexual advances being rebutted with the aid of a pint glass around someone's head. If gays want to have a big dance party in the name of their sexuality, after years of persecution, more luck to them I say. Being a straight, white, middle class male can sometimes seem like a lonely place in terms of why everything is our fault and you can't say in private what Diane Abbott says on Twitter...But really it isn't all that bad.
