some chocolate icecream and that would taste GOLD

Any icecream is a fantastic addition. It would become an addiction if I added it regularly though Grin

You can't go wrong with:

Base:
- Milk if you want more calories
- Orange (or any) juice if you want Vitamin C/are lactose intolerant/or want less calories

Vitmains and minerals:
- Berries of various sorts
- A banana for bulk

Protein:
- Protein powder
- Cottage cheese
- Natural/Greek yoghurt

For sweetness:
- chocolate/honey/peanut butter/Nesquick/malt powder

For extra bulk and calories:
- cornflour/oats/olive oil

Chop and change depending on what you want

80g whey
2 whole eggs
150 oats
2 bananas

I usually go for :

1-2 scoops protein powder (brand and scoop size dependant)
1 pint of milk.

Sounds good, looks like it would be pretty balanced as a meal replacement too.

All the above look good, but if your looking for extra cals, then just use coconut milk instead of milk/water.

loads of cals and it tastes lush

Yeah just gonna chuck a couple of these in as well as normal meals to up my calorie intake and hopefully energy levels without adding much fat due to low fat diet.

Plenty of ideas there but not sure how keen I am on cottage cheese. I find it all gets a bit too thick.

Peanut butter makes pretty much anything taste good.

I also wouldn't get too hung up about fats. In fact, make sure they are in there. Your body uses them and they are calorie-dense - so no need to spend half your life bloated and gaseous. If you are going to get fat, all the sugar in the skimmed milk is far more likely to contribute.

I have a few things along the lines of what's been mentioned here

But cottage cheese doesn't work for me

Bananas too

I guess we're all different

My shake is pretty solid, I will post it on here later

cant be arsed using a blender, so dont usually add peanut butter to mine, just add the stuff to a shaker and go

soya milk
hemp protein
pea protein

thats it, the hemp protein is actually pretty high in good fats so it packs on the calories.

use flavoured ones, so either mint chocolate pean + chocolate hemp, or mixed fruit pea + strawberry hemp so the taste is pretty good.

no need to up the calories for myself so thats why i am keeping it pretty basic.

I'm not sure if that's what you were going for, but that did make me chuckle.
