Should have put this in the nutrition section really but not sure how many people look there...

Santa brought me a cool new blender with more attachments than I can figure out so gonna start adding some high quality shakes/blends to supplement my diet. Had quite a lay off from training so want to get back into it with the diet/supplement side of things sorted.

Don't just want to load up on fatty foods though as due to health problems I need to keep as low a fat level as possible.

So healthy but high calorie shake ideas if you will please!

One I've been using lately:

3/4 cup porridge oats
1 medium bananananananana
2 cups of skimmed milk
2 tea spoons honey
Teaspoon peanut butter
Scoop of whey protein.

Not sure how many calories that would be?

As per your recipe but add in any/all of:
natural yoghurt
cottage cheese (sounds odd but is fairly smooth when blended)
frozen berries

If your 3/4 cup of oats is roughly 80g, then I think it's probably in the ball park of say.. somewhere around 600kcals?

nope, sorry, I'd have to look at all the packaging or a calorie counter book and work it out.

Pretty much what I have every day before breakfast, minus the chocolate. 1000 cal, 44g fat, 31g Protein. No need for expensive diarrhoea inducing protein shakes!

4 scoops powdered egg white
1/2 tub cream cheese
3 tablespoons peanut butter
2 tablespoons nutella
4 digestive biscuits
handfull of some sort of nuts
1 banana
