Stick at the OH mate, I was terrible at all forms of pressing in the past, but I have stuck with it, and been a lot more focused and structured with my pressing training this last while, and it has come on a fair bit.

after seein your training mate and neil's advice im going to build up the strict for sets one day a week and do pp later on in the week Happy
build upmy strict and hopefully get my pp going Happy think the 120 at the scottish in feb/mar will be a tad to far though Unhappy

Yeah mate, improving the strict has had a very positive impact on my PP. I have only done axle pp once and log twice since I started improving my strict, and hit easy PBs on both, so once I start doing them regular again I hope to add a good bit more.

120 by feb/mar is not impossible for you imo. My strict is up 40kg since sept, mostly due to neglecting it before. PP is 7.5 up despite not doing it, and I think I can put another 10-15 on it before xmas when I start doing it more again.

Be positive and learn to love the strict press Happy

Your overhead will come along fine, I think OH is one of the lifts that you can add a lot of weight to quite quickly. It used to be my worst event with me failing an 80kg log at my first comp back in May and I've managed to get up to 100kg plus now without too much work.

You are certainly putting in the graft on the OH training so I'm sure you'll be pressing out the 120kg log come the Scottish qualifier.

All training looks good, liking the deadlifts and garage training! Good job you only have 150 kg of weights, i ended up smashing the floor in mine to bits on the deads haha Happy
