lol "dozy fat oaf" excellent use of the descriptive power of the english language.

I'm a big fan of self depreciating humour.

I don't think I've ever seen anybody draw that much blood on a bar *though clothing*. Impressive pratfall, compadre.

Monday 2nd May, start 14:00

Leg has scabbed over quite nicely but is still discoloured, swollen and sore. Can't really see it being an issue today though

Squat, leotard, no belt, no wraps, all kilos

20 x 5
20 x 5
20 x 5
60 x 5
60 x 5
60 x 5
60 x 5
100 x 5
belt on
140 x 5
wraps on
180 x 5
190 x 5
200 x 5
210 x 5
220 x 5

Leg not a problem, much better than last week as I am now becoming more used to the slackenss of the leotard rather than the rigidity of the suit. All nice and deep and fluent, good position pf them all. Still light, but fives tend to make one blow a bit. Off to the pub later for a diet coke and a chat, the chef had chuffed off, so we were on a restricted menu, but there were chip butties, and very nice they were too, so much so I had seconds.

Wednesday, 4th May, start 17:00

Neck hurting for no obvious reason, has been all day.
On Sunday we experimented with a different line for the bench, so tonight I shall do lot of very light reps to see if I can get the hang of it and so my neck gives me no more grief than it has to.

bench, raw, all kilos

20 x 20
20 x 20
20 x 20
60 x 5
60 x 5
60 x 5
60 x 5
60 x 5
60 x 5
60 x 5
60 x 5
60 x 5
60 x 5
60 x 5
60 x 5
60 x 5
60 x 5
60 x 5
60 x 5
60 x 5
60 x 5
60 x 5
60 x 5

Incline flyes, still kilos

12 x 8
12 x 8
12 x 8
12 x 8
12 x 8

I did get the hang of them by the end. A fairly wasted session truth be told but the neck was giving me gyp. Damn the thing. Had a long conversation with DrRick about the referendum about voting and believe it or not cunnilingus, which was enlightening and amusing.

On a sad note Oldham has had to be cancelled this evening owing to there being no suitable victims present.

Internet still a pain, neck not so bad. Leg shouldn't affect training but doesn't look good, mind you, neither do I

The next definite one is the North Wests in December, and maybe a run out for the Roses cup in August. Other than that - who knows

Popped along primarily to spot for Joe but did some very light benches to impress into the muscle memory yje new and amended movement.

Bench, raw, all kilos

20 x 20
20 x 20
20 x 20
60 x 5
60 x 5

60 x 5
60 x 5
60 x 5
60 x 5
60 x 5
60 x 5

These are getting better. Now- reasons to be cheerful, my neck was not troubled by these in the slightest, my leg is improving, the internet appears to be fixed and I have my watch back, I had a non-runner yesterday so I have lobbed a cheeky tenner on United Chelsea to finish 3 - 3 at 66 to 1. So here's hoping.
