I used to think I could get more out of wraps when somebody else did them for me, but after a bit of practice I seem to have got used to the feeling of how I do them. If somebody else does them for me now it doesn't feel right.

ME Bench Day.

Thumb Grip away from smooth benching.
warm up
70 x 5
90 x 5
100 x 3
105 x 1
110 x 1 - PB at this grip.
107.5 x 1

Changed my set up so I got more tighter in the legs and could really feel the benefit of leg drive.

Pull Ups 7 x 2

3 way shoulder raise 3 x 20
2,3,4kg

Machine row 4 x 10

Then done some pinkie on the ring benching with Neils slingshot. Was really fun.

Worked up to
100 x 5
110 x 4
120 x 1 - First time this type of weight has touched my chest. I am aware that some weight will be taken off to some degree. And I have got 120 to a 2 board before. But still a technical PB.

Really good session. Especially since my close grip is 2.5kg away from my "Max"

Also this is the end of my first 3 week. I like how my training is going. However, I have to watch out from box squatting im cutting my depth on some of my squats. So I have to make sure I start sinking them off the box.

I double a band, then put it over my legs. Up to my knees, and then just moved my knees outwards. Like the fanny tightening machine but i cba'd going upstairs.

All reps were really fast, possibly should lower this weight but it was going fast so not sure.

Lowered the weight of assistance as last week was quite a hard week. Will increase over the next 3 weeks. Really looking forward to taking hopefully new maxes at the end of these 9 weeks.

Cheers man aww really sorry, I had my headphones in they are in ear efforts so I couldn't hear a train if it was about to steam over me. Not intentional.

Yeah training is feeling good. I hope I get some nice Pbs at the end of the 9 weeks. Just annoyed at the stupid strathy closure. its f**king my plans right up.

Sumo pulls from the floor
worked upto 200kg PB!! This equals my conventional pull.
205-F just wasnt happening.
My floor strength is good my lockout however is dire!

Conventional 14" block pull

Horrible height to pull from!

122.5 x 1 - PB Felt fast and fairly easy! Soo chuffed about this also I do realise its a touch and go but oh well.. I think i have changed my set up a bit so I am getting tighter in my upper back. I can also only assume the sleeveless tee got my swoleness on therefore could bench more :P




Pullups 6 x 3 - added one rep for this 3 week phase. getting much stronger at these. It wasnt long ago when I could only do one!(the shame I know)

Dumbell Front raise 4 x 10
7,9,10,12.5kg

Tate press 4 x 10

Called it quits here not because it was difficult the weight was flying up and it felt easy, but due to vainty and having my pharmacy ball on thursday i didnt want to burst all the capillaries in my face! I think i could easily get over 200kg with the suit and knee wraps on. I videod the squat but my camera decided to be a prick and delete all my videos, including Neil's monster 3" defecit 250kg deadlift for 3!

I used the blue one. I put the straps up and andy clegg had a look at them and said it was an all round good fit. Im about 5' 10". Also thanks for the suits man, they are excellent. I enjoy using them.

Aye? I will try that next time im doing DLs. Ive switched to sumo anyway so it should be good for me. Cant wait to give the suits a proper try out.
