I know. I hate it when threads go off topic.

London is full of middle/upper class wa**ers. One does immediately spring too mind Grin

c**t Grin

Getting around London is a piece of piss. If you want to drive across London, then you're going to have trouble. But as others have alluded to, driving across the centre of any major city is going to be a little tricky.

Not at all mate. The transport system in England and especially London is significantly better than the majority of people acknowledge. And i f**king love trains.

In fact im about to set off to get the train to Manc for SSM. London to Manchester in 2 hours 8 minutes, 2 hours quicker than you could drive the exact same journey at the best of times and probably 3 hours quicker than you could drive it tonight. Comfortable seat, fully stocked bar, wireless internet access and a plethora of attractive ladies to stare at.

All for less than the cost of the petrol.

Alot of the trains are good, but if you live on the east coast its s**t. it took me 4 hours to get to birmingham from norwich. it was quicker for some people to get from dover by train.

Does anyone know what athletes are actually still going to be there, I know Loz is competing in Ukraine now and probally a few others. Is Karlsen still going to be there?
Cant believe theyve decided to hold it the same weekend as a qualifier for wsm in Ukraine

Owlina and I are embarking on a 'Summer of Strength' international tour, hopefully followed by an 'Autumn of Strength', leading into etc etc...
I'd love to have a go at a comp some day Mr Boar. I've still got a long way to go though. Once I've got my deads up to 200 (not there yet, but now looking more realistic) and I get 85 - 90 overhead (again not quite there yet), I'll start looking for something I can work towards. Need to get some events training in somewhere too though. Although the sandbag I have in Owlina's garage is a start.

PS. I'll get the deadlifting vids from yesterday up here soon. Couldn't really get a good enough view of anything else unfortunately, which is a shame because some of those stone FLEW up there. Happy

PPS. Mr Hollands is looking to be in mighty good form this year!
