I'm happy with training at the moment mate although my weight is higher than I'd like.
I'm doing singles on squats tonight and trying for 5 x 1 with 170 which is my comp PB.
The hamstrings have healed almost fully and I'm able to deadlift with some decent weight again, next singles session is 5 x 1 at 205 which is only 5 kg off my comp PB.

Squats
10 x bar
5 x 60 kg
5 x 100 kg
5 x 140 kg
2 x 160 kg
5 x 1 x 170 kg

Calf raises, SLDL's, rope crunches

I'll move on to 175 for 5 x 1 but that was fookin hard tonight, a little backy at times and I'm not sure they would have all passed comp depth but they wouldn't have been far off if they didn't.

I like to do a few bodybuilding type moves for support Mike once the important stuff is out of the way, I even do curls now and thenEek

I need to do something about the weight I've had to move my lifting belt out a notch!

Not much time tonight so no support exercises, happy with the bench, move on to 112.5 for 5 x 5.

It should do Bill mate but it will only be part of a 5 x 1.
I've got definite plans to stay 'on routine' for 6 months, no single pb attempts, no comps etc, although Malc has put the idea of a comp in Feb into my head.

Yes, i think it is good to stay 'on routine' for long periods rather than always chopping and changing. I think i might give the Wendler 5-3-1 a go from January.
