That's a lot of volume on triceps! Good work.

It is mate, normally I don't do Tricep Pressdowns but due to working away I can only train 3 days this week so crammed in some volume tonight.

I have discovered the miracle of chalk!
Used it today for the first time and it's made a big difference.
The plan for today was 5 x 5 at 145 kg, previous bests were 5 x 5 142.5 and 160 for a triple. Very confident now that the 200 will fall soon.

I used to read a porn mag called "40 plusers" when I was a mere slip of a lad.

Something along these lines:

www.sexy40plus.com

Needless to say, as interesting as this journal is, I am a little dissapointed with the content.

5 x 60 kg
5 x 100 kg
5 x 140 kg
3 x 170 kg
3 x 170 kg
3 x 170 kg
3 x 170 kg
3 x 170 kg
1 x 192.5 kg (PB)

Lever Rows
5 x 40 kg
5 x 80 kg
5 x 90 kg
5 x 100 kg

DB Curls
5 x 30 lb
5 x 40 lb
5 x 50 lb
5 x 50 lb
5 x 50 lb

Previous 5 x 3 best was 152.5 so that's a 17.5 kg increase, really took it out of me though. The 192.5 PB is only a 2.5 increase but it was a much better lift than the 190 from 2 weeks ago and there should be more to come next week.

Cheers Mikey, hopefully the 200 will be next week.

Lever rows is the only way I can describe them.
It's a machine/frame you sit on with a pad supporting your chest, there are 2 levers in front of you that you pull to get the rowing action, at the other end of the levers are poles sticking up for you to put plates onto.

Tonights training

Seated OH Press (Smith Machine)
10 x bar only
5 x 50 kg
5 x 70 kg
3 x 77.5 kg
3 x 77.5 kg
3 x 77.5 kg
3 x 77.5 kg
2 x 77.5 kg

Power Cleans
10 x bar only
5 x 60 kg
3 x 80 kg
3 x 80 kg
3 x 80 kg
3 x 80 kg
3 x 80 kg

Hack Squats
10 x frame only
5 x 50 kg
5 x 90 kg
5 x 130 kg
5 x 170 kg
5 x 150 kg
5 x 130 kg

Good session overall, a good support exercise routine if I do say so myself.
Failed on the OH Press.
Hack Squats at 170 were little more than half squats and the mehanics of the frame assist quite a bit but still a good support exercise.
