WDFPA 'World' Championship results

Any chance of some results?

harry philips came 4th in the 90's`

I was there yesterday but went before the deadlifts. Harry Philips got a world junior record of 625 kgs in the 90s. Andy Bonner squatted 250 in the 90s at m3? And he benched 150 I believe. Paul Richards squatted 157.5, and Im pretty sure he benched 100 or 105 at 67.5kgs. Simon Marshall squatted 265 and benched 190 at 100 kgs. Pete Sutton from Wales squatted 265 in the 145s (I think). Ian Shaw squatted 230 and benched 122.5 (again, Im not 100% sure on this). And he pulled 292 from what Harry told me for a British record. I think Steve Wilkinson in the 75s bombed in the bench. I cant think of any other results from the top of my head but if I think of any more I will say. Apologies if I got any of the above info wrong

Oh and as soon as anyone here know the equipped results from today let us know, cheers.

Vice Minty got a m1 record squat of 216 (?). Terry Jex squatted 240 in m3 100kgs.

Hello All,

I've just got back after a bloody long weekend.

I won the 82.5kg category with a total of 630kg, which I was more than happy with after the amount of illness I'm seemed to have attracted over the last 5 weeks.

There was some impressive lifting all round, all in all a good weekend

Whoever made the decision not to have trophies is a right numpty though (there were just gold, silver and bronze medals for the top 3 in each class), this comp cost £70 to enter so there must have been enough money to come up with something a little better...

Just had a call from Wayne,


he got 1st place in 100kg M2 with a 192.5 Bench, 270 Squat & 240 Deadlift. he got 3rd in the 100kg.

Ian got 3rd place didnt get ians weights.

Just got back from this weeked out, some good lifts, some s**t lifts and some seriously questionable decisions.

And £4 for a f**king large coffee! WTF!!!
