"Probably quite hard" sounds a bit feeble. If you think you can do it (and I think you think you can), then do it. Then take a week off from deads, then pull 190 the week after. Jesus, I'd better add some kg to my deadlift at this comp!

Ok, sounds like a good idea. Maybe just a light week in between instead of no deads altogether. Form work upto 140 maybe.

175 sounds quite loud when you drop it, and that's what its all about really.

When I was deadlifting at Total Fitness on Tuesday there was a woman who was ostentatiously covering her ears because of the noise when I put the bar down. I wasn't even dropping it. She was some kind of trainer, teaching this guy to do horrible clean and jerks.

Yes, because Operation 'Shoulderz like Boulderz' sounds so realistic.

Operation DD does indeed represent Double D - my attempt to get huge pecs in order to avert attention from the growing power belly.

good session dude, which was timely after couple hit and miss ones.

You have a lot there in squats, and if you play your cards right i would not be suprised if your PB would be 150 by the end of oct.

They're not real PBs. Hell, I could bench press 60kg for 25 reps and call it a PB.

I'd like to see you do 5 singles with 137.5 on the bench and not call it a PB!

That's one of the reasons why I've actually started adding the v to symbolise the volume PBs - so the proper PBs look more important, as they should.

I don't attach an awful lot of significance to some of them (e.g. like Rick worrying his work out is s**t without his preacher curl 12 rep PB) but at the end of the day, a PB is a PB is a PB!

A PB is a weight you haven't lifted before. If I did 5 singles with 137.5 on bench I wouldn't call it a PB.
