Ive never done must squatting in my overall lifetime, but in thinking of pausing all my squats in training. I think it would reap more overall gains

The second rep wasn't planned but unfortunately my phone didn't record the planned 300 x 1 Unhappy it was so good too. So went for it again because I was, pissed off because it didn't record but also chuffed because it felt so easy. The second rep (video) was hitched but ah well.

Was hoping to pull something big today but woke up feeling very stiff unfortunately. Not concerned as the 300 I pulled the other day was a beaut.

Maybe it looked like I did in the video but it certainly didn't feel like I did! I struggled just to step forward to re-rack it lol

On the plus side, it's gave me a nudge to do more FTOH volume on the log rather than from the shoulders which I think will be good going forward. Looking back I think alot of strongmen, myself included at times, fall in the trap of just lifting heavy for 1-3 and occasionally 5 reps.
Rep goal for log at the moment will be 100kg x 10 FTOH strict press in 75 seconds once I'm all healed up. Then onwards from there Happy .... I think

I was watching Big Z's log workout today on Youtube, and he ends every session with FTOH. I think it was 8 or 10 at 140kg today, after a 180kg single! Grin
