did abit of deadlifting the week before but didnt get time to post, maxed at 240 which im happy with considerin i hadnt done it for so long.

Ok so the rugby season is now over! After 2 months of going to the gym once maybe twice a week because of injurys i can now get back and focus on the lifts!

Tried out my new log today for pretty much the first time, its 18inch diameter. Worked my way from 70kg 100kg from floor to overhead every rep all strict pressed

stopped there as its boiling hot and could barely breath. I noticed I seem to struggle alot more with the clean than the press, and waste quite alot of energy just getting the log up, as its not realy something ive ever done before, due to the fact that every shoulder exercise ive done in the gym was starting at shoulder height. Also, I struggle like f**k to push press the log, as soon as i bend my legs my balance goes all to pot, even with just 70kg on, hence why all those lifts were strict. But i guess it'll come with practise.

been in ibiza for 10 days. trained most days but the gym was abit shockin. they had olympic plates but only 2" bars! and no collars!

Today i was back in the local gym, benchin

Back training again now. Sort of. Hurt my knee ligament playing rugby again sooo im taking a break from rugby (being injured) as i was f**ked for about 2 years after my last knee injury, with ACL reconstruction n that. Its not that bad this time, bin nearly a week now and its gotten alot better.

Moved to a new gym aswell, brand new one built locally, much better than my previous one and its nice to have a change. Feel alot more motivated there. Also get free use of the swimming pool Happy

This week ive just been dipping my feet in the water as i havent trained properly in 6 months.

I worked up to a 170 bench on monday.
Did some back and lat work on tuesday.
Worked up to a 220 deadlift. Had more in the tank but didnt want to risk the knee. wednesday.
Worked up to 100kg strict overhead press on olympic bar with 2 sets of 5 on 80 before that.

Overall im pretty happy as i havent moved down too much so it should come back resonably fast. Want to start squattin asap too.

Goal is to make some sort of impact on the u90kg scene as i think im pretty well suited. Currently weighing in at 85kg, and ive got abit of a gut on me as ive tried puttin weight on for rugby, so at the mo i'd say i was around 82-84kg gym fit so got plenty of room to put muscle mass on.

Worked up and managed to get back to my pb of 172.5 :-) it felt pretty easy to so think i might go for 175 next week! Still can squat at the mo cuz of my knee which is abit gay but its getting better.

3 reps each shoulder worked up to 40kg did about 4-5 sets

lateral raises - 4 sets
front raises - 4 sets

shrugs 4 sets 8 reps on 140kg
drop set 100 kg 50 reps
