Stick up a sign to say any bikes left on Friday will be marked for removal the following week to make room by order of management. Remove the bike monday with managers blessing.

Still got a little bit of strength Member 400, 22062 posts | You're such a kind and generous man Mr Boar, so I think you deserve something back from the world. I personally wouldn't take it, but I wouldn't think any less of you if you did

Mask it or Casket !! Member 4600, 8166 posts SQ 240, BP 162.5, DL 255657.5 kgs @ 90.5kgs UnEq | i would have taken it and replaced it with a laminated message that i was keeping safe, recycling it and saving the planet. no one dares argue if you say saving the planet. Magic words them.

I also have a laminator and now i have the lovely Waynes seal of approval, things may start to happen....... ......pending further ponderings.

Nothing left in the tank. Member 5, 25566 posts Administrator | UPDATE I spoke to the transport manager , he had a bit of time to chat so it was a very reasonable conversation and not rushed he says the best thing to do is take a photo and one of the department managers will put it in the weekly newsletter, abandoned bikes need removing from premises etc etc there is a chance some opportunist scrote will take advantage, but overall , if no-one claims it, im having it.

Member 5, 25566 posts Administrator | Samthepigman said:What you gonna do if some fat bas***d tries to claim it's theirs I am pondering locking it up having the newsletter state you need to see the manager and stake your claim. Obviously if its just a lazy sod who decided after one attempt ,to never cycle to work again , it is their bike and they should take it home. people who treat bikes like this dont deserve a bike !

Nothing left in the tank. Member 5, 25566 posts Administrator | it took alot of work to get the chain into decent condition , and there are a few bits i wouldnt mind replacing BUT its just for a bit of razzing up and down local trails it was close to death , but i gave it life !
