slow_lift_joe | Conspiracy Theory or Modern Day Executions ? | 19-10-2017 @ 00:53
Interesting Member 6186, 245 posts | Back in medieval times you were hanged, drawn and quartered for insubordination towards authority/the establishment, never mind high treason. Today they just take you out, clean. Panama Papers :- Daphne Caruana Galizia - Car Bomb ? David Kelly :- UK leading weapons inspector :- Found dead in Harrowdown Hill Woods, a very strange death indeed, weapons of mass destruction and the Blair government. Princess Diana :- The Boston Brakes, could be possible ? JFK :- Oswald a lone gunman ? The ones I do not buy as a conspiracy are :- 9/11 :- I cannot believe this was a conspiracy. Moon Landings :- The flag waving on moon did make me doubt, but surely we landed on the moon surely, this cannot be faked ? illuminati:- Overload controlling the world order, the secret society ? Big Foot (Sasquatch) :- It is a man in a gorilla suit come on ? My personal favourites are :- Stanley Meyer - The man who inverted water cars and the big oil cartels Jeffery Wigand - The man who knew too much, he took on the tabacco industry. They can take you out if you are a threat or a loose cannon or a whistle blower ?

woefully weak Member 4748, 1506 posts SQ 157, BP 133, DL 260550.0 kgs @ 104kgs UnEq | Any large-scale conspiracy theories that require average politicians (e.g 9/11) to be masterminds I don't buy. There's no way that simpletons like Hilary Clinton, George Bush, Theresa May and their ilk could keep anything serious hidden from the public. The odd assassination however seems quite plausible and JFK's death has a lot of weird question marks over it. I really hope some of the "cryptozoology" ones are true (e.g dinosaurs in Congo!) but I find them very hard to believe.

I eat a lot of meat Member 5124, 2997 posts SQ 245, BP 130, DL 275650.0 kgs @ 105kgs UnEq | Crime and corruption is rife worldwide, and large powerful figures and organisations are more than capable of removing a thorn from their side without very little concern. Conspiracy theories are always there, along with the peddling of fake news, distractions, and mass confusion. The world is a dark place, and if you piss off the wrong people, or expose certain practices, or cause a the big wheels in a powerful machine to stop turning, you could quite easily get into trouble and go onto the missing list. It happens, no doubt, and it will never change. Most cases, or issues make a small section of press and then are forgotten about by the majority very quickly.

Member 4923, 1795 posts | I believe JFK was killed by the Mob, and there prob was a second shooter, so satisfied there was a conspiracy there. I'm suspicious about the moon landings, but all the other theories are boloni.

Squatting isn't doing my back any good. Member 5108, 869 posts SQ 170, BP 125, DL 210505.0 kgs @ 93kgs UnEq | My brother in law told me the other day that America controls the weather using giant magnets hidden in Alaska and that they deliberately triggered the recent hurricane so that people would buy more stuff. Some people believe a lot of s**t.

Ham but hey Member 4787, 205 posts | I love a good conspiracy. 9/11...something is 100% amiss with it. Even the EU engineering review concluded it couldn't collapse the way it did and the reporting of the Pentagon hit was changed from the second day and footage scrubbed. Dinosaurs, if Bill Bryson says there could be giant sloths in the Amazon then that's good enough for me. Crocodiles and scorpions are dinosaurs and have only changed in size. Jellyfish can be immortal so are basically dinos too. Awesome. Political "black book" work. Fact. Flouride. UfO's Big cats in the UK so much weirdness in the world and it only adds to it's coolness.
