Mixture of little amount of food yesterday, late night, little sleep, weather today (I can't hack it), bad recipe! Warm up Strict log Bar x 12 40 x 8 80 x 5 - Felt like I'd never picked up a log in my life, clean was terrible! 80 x 2 - Thought is wake up by then, not happening Lapped a 110 stone because I'd forgot what it felt like Give up! f**k this weather! | ||

Started back last Sunday just some light stuff, hopefully get log/bench going again now. 30/7/17 today Warm up Strict log from chest one motion first rep Bar x 12 x 2 40 x 8 80 x 7 x 3 sets, clean felt horrible on my back, reps were getting easier set by set. Bench Bar x 15 60 x 10 80 x 5 100 x 5 120 x 5 100 x 10 Going to look into a log programme I think, want to get it as high as poss before the rest of my body gives up or my back stops the progress | ||

I hit a pb today with a chest infection Member 3283, 1921 posts | 13/8/17 Strict barbell out of rack Bar x 12 x 2 40 x 8 60 x 5 70 x 6 75 x 6 65 x 6 x 2 sets Floor press 40 x 8 80 x 10 100 x 3 120 x 3 105 x 3 x 2 sets Had never done this exercise before, quite a bit more there when im more use to it I think Lat pulldowns wide grip 5 sets of 12 - 15 reps Dumbbell tricep extensions (standing) 10's x 15 14's x 15 x 2 sets 12.5's x 12 x 2 sets Hadn't done this in years either, concentrating on keeping good form more than anything else Facepulls 5 sets of 20 Enjoyed that, had quite a pump on that I weren't use to. Right front delt feels knotted up, gets tight really really fast, going to try and do some stuff to sort it. Any tips welcome | ||

I hit a pb today with a chest infection Member 3283, 1921 posts | 16/8/17 Strict log (clean first rep only) Bar x 12 x 2 40 x 8 80 x 5 85 x 3 90 x 3 95 x 3 - messed it up a bit on the second rep, made it very hard for myself, but just about grinded out the third Bench Bar x 15 60 x 8 80 x 5 100 x 5 122.5 x 4 failed the fifth, not feeling fresh what so ever tonight though, struggled through the whole night 105 x 5 x 2 sets Incline dumbells 3 sets of 12 Chest supported rows 5 sets of 12 Side raises 3 sets of 12 Tricep pushdowns 5 sets of 12 Dumbbell curls 3 sets of 12 Trucked! | ||

I hit a pb today with a chest infection Member 3283, 1921 posts | First time doing log since August 14/1/18 5 mins bike 10 mins warm up Strict log Bar x 12 x 2 40 x 6 80 x 3 - walking all over the place with it couldn't get my line 80 x 5 80 x 7 1st set felt like I'd never logged in my life last set felt like I'd never been away from it, nice to see i can get my head back into it within 3 sets. Bench Bar x 12 60 x 8 80 x 5 100 x 3 115 x 5 x 3 sets Tricep pushdowns 3 sets of 15, 15 & 8 respectively increasing weight each set Skullcrushers 3 sets of 15 Pec flys 2 sets of 15 | ||

Never been so happy with a deadlift lol Lat pulldowns 3 sets of 15 Close grip rows 3 sets of 15 Bw pull ups 5 x partials (there was a method to my madness) Db curls x 2 sets Sooo happy about the deads, most depressing day of the year today? Not here!!! | ||

I hit a pb today with a chest infection Member 3283, 1921 posts | 17/1/18 Backs been a little sore from deadlifting, not too bad though, probably more to do with the fact that I hadn't done it for over a year and I'm not use to it 5 mins bike Ssb squat Bar x 12 x 2 40 x 10 x 3 sets Pain free, but so was deadlifting, until the next morning, will see tomorrow! Nothing worth writing about but hoping to watch it steadily rise so thought I'd log it anyway. Leg extensions supersetted with leg curls for sets of 15 for a pump I'm not use to these days Done, tight for time and just happy to squat something. Biggest thing to take from this is this is the first time I've been in the gym 3 times over 4 days in absolutely god knows how long, hopefully shows my mindset is starting to get back on the right track, looking forward to Sunday :-) | ||
