Yep, I have negotiated some nice weight all round

Here are the events:

1. CARRYING: Farmer's Walk 100kgs each hand -> Yolk 200kgs. 15m each way.

2. OVERHEAD PRESS MEDLEY: 70kgs log press -> 80kgs axle press -> 45kgs circus dumbbell press -> reps with the red log press on 85kgs at the end

3. DEADLIFT: 2 bars set at 180kgs and 200kgs for reps. More points for doing the 200kgs.

4. HAND OVER HAND CAR PULL - Like2Lift Van.

5. ATLAS STONES: 85kgs -> 105kgs -> 120kgs -> 135kgs.

75 seconds to complete each event.

so far...we havent got any mosters entering...only new starters who can just about manage the weights (not the stone though dont expect many to get past the 105/120Wink

Yeh I probably wouldn't myself as don't train them. Is tacky allowed?

Tacky is allowed.

The 120-135 are smooth and need tacky. The 85 and 105 are rough and easy enough with chalk.

Shoulder warm up

Strict log
40 x 8
50 x 5
60 x 2 x 2
75 x 5 rep pb as never really done strict log before the last couple of weeks
77.5 x 2 rep pb gives me a target anyway
75 x 4
75 x 3 Completely messed up my footing.

Incline dumbell
20's x 12
27.5's x 10
32.5's x 8

Tricep pulldowns

1 set of 12
2nd set 10
3rd set 10
Increasing weight each set

Lol, just shows all I need in life is consistency, the rest comes on it's own. Loving training at the min, long may it continue!

Don't think that 100 logs far away with 5 strict at 75. Maybe 6 weeks or so I'll have a go for a pb

5 mins on treadmill

Squat
Bar x 12 x 2
60 x 5
80 x 3
100 x 2
140 x 2
Add belt
160 x 1
175 x 1 wanted a double but this was the hardest squat rep I've ever done in my life. Apparantly my high bar is ridiculously high.
175 x 1 lowered bar, bit better
150 x 3 lost footing on last rep and nearly fell forward lol.
My technique on a lot of lifts is really s**t, could do with some form help as it's holding me back now

Leg extensions
3 sets of 12,10,8 increasing weight

Leg curls
3 sets of 12,10,8 same weight

No time for farmers as need to get to bank before it closes. Definitely next week.

Managed to set up inside but had limited distance

Haven't done farmers in nearly a year so left it there for today, will try 120 next week.

Done. Enjoyed that, nice not to have to rush away for whatever reason

on other news...my shoulder op..was cancelled 1 hour ago, something broke and they just sent me home

so off to the gym after Ive eaten!
