Deadlift

Bar x 12 x 2
60 x 5
100 x 3
140 x 2
160 x 1
177.5 x 5 - terrible, hard, s**t form
187.5 x 3 rep pb - easy!
200 x 2 rep pb - could have done at least two more I think

Left it there tonight. Bad excuse for a session on the volume side of things but I'm in agony with my back at the mo and didn't want to push it. It seems to be getting worse daily no matter how much I foam roll, stretch, get the mrs and kids standing on my back. Still killing, I know it's the job I'm doing, working above my head, so hopefully when it's finished in a couple of weeks my back will ease up if I'm on something at ground level.
But on the plus side, a 200 double with plenty more there, wasn't 5 mins ago that was my pb. Isn't consistency a beautiful thing :-)

Shoulder warm up

Strict log

40 x 8 x 2
50 x 5
60 x 2
72.5 x 3
72.5 x 3
72.5 x 4
75 x 3

Incline dumbell

3 sets of 10 increasing weight

Tricep pulldowns

3 sets of 10 increasing weight

Shoulder press machine

1 set of 5 had enough lol

Done.

Roll on squats Saturday!

170 x 2 left trying the 175 for 2 as was feeling a bit f**ked

Farmers holds

60 each hand
100 - 20 - 25 secs
110 - 39 secs
115 - 15 secs

Done. Was going to do farmers outside but was raining and don't have the space inside so was holds instead.
Next week outside and moving!

Pissed off, the 200 double last week was so easy, when I get my technique spot on. Then look forward to smashing deads all week to struggle like f**k.
I know it sounds like I'm making excuses to myself but I'm sick to f**king death of my back been done in when I get home from work, then I've got to train. I'm going on the f**king dole so I can make gainz!

Worst of it is I leave the gym and don't do f**kall else cus I've lost my head and because it's rammed and can't get to anything anyway.
So s**t session all round. Now I'm home I'm pissed off with myself that I didn't stay and do some upper back work. Will have to try and get a little in tomorrow after pressing maybe.

Anyone know what I can eat/drink that's high in carbs but light on the stomach I can have an hour or so before training? Don't want the preworkout s**t, just frys my head, and my guts

hey mate, a 3rep pb in a session...it aint all bad!

Pre-workout, nothing heavy at all...a banana and other fruits or// a couple of marz bars dont go a missHappy
