I hit a pb today with a chest infection

Putting a list of goals in here for me to hopefully check off by the end of the year.
Hopefully looking at them often will kick myself up the arse more, I've also written them in my journal pad in my gym bag.

Deadlift - 240
Squat - 200
Log - 100 at least
And not a numbers thing but train events a lot more! Stones especially!

If I hit these by Xmas I'll be a happy chappy, think they're pretty realistic, all achievable as long as my training stays consistent which is normally my biggest hurdle!

100k on the horrible log (I hate all logs) would be nice as well.

Do you do and clean and press? any goals for floor to overhead c&p or axel???

Not a lot really, just concentrating a lot on log.
I do like axle but think I'll be neglecting that the majority of this year as it's what f**ked my wrist up. Want to get it fixed before I f**k it up again lol
A big log excites more than axle too lol

Right I've had a week off. Well a week tomorrow.
Actually came down with a viral infection and it hit me a few hours after leaving the gym so was probably why I struggled on the last set.
Caught it off my daughter and been run down anyway I was an easy target lol

Mostly better now apart from a slightly dodgy chest still

Deadlift
Bar x 12 x 2
60 x 5
100 x 3
140 x 2
175 x 5
185 x 3
197.5 x 2 pb double
160 x 8 - f**ked!!

Gotcha! Didn't move the 5 and 3 up as wanted to get the double first. Was meant to have been 197.5 in the first place not 200. Plus backs been in agony all day today as done nothing but load plasterboards on me tod all day so was f**ked and expected to struggle, sweet!

Pull ups

Bw x 4

Nice goals. Look achievable.
I also am in the hunt for a 100kg log.
240 DL is a minimum goal for me in a comp in July...

Never stopped by here. Looks good.

Thanks very much mate! Trainings been consistent since December so finally making some progress.
Hoping to hit those targets in a few months really, as long as there's no hiccups I should manage it.

Haven't been able to get in the gym since Monday, my little man was took to hospital Wednesday and has been really poorly.

Few minutes on treadmill

Squat
Bar x 12 x 2
60 x 5
80 x 3
100 x 2
120 x 2
140 x 1
155 x 5 rep pb
165 x 3 rep pb
175 x 1 didn't even go for the second as I knew I wouldn't come back up
175 x 1
140 x 5
Backs really tight

Shoulder warm up
Strict log
40 x 8
50 x 5
60 x 3
70 x 5
75 x 1 misloaded
72.5 x 2 felt f**ked and my left biceps sore from work along with my shoulders so hopefully be better next week when I'm not working overhead at work all week.
My log is so s**t. I tend to one motion the first rep then touch and go after that. If I stop each rep at the chest I won't get it. Maybe I need to go even lighter than I already am and learn to explode off the chest with a pause after the clean. f**k knows
