Yep. family in long island NY. Its a nice place to visit and I recomend it.

Wrist still playing you up? Your right to stap up in tyhis instance then! I also find overhead agrivates wrist issues. Since my shoulder is trucked, Ive had no such issues, since I cant press bugger all!

I've promise the mrs one year in our life I'll take her there for Xmas lol.

Yeh wrists still bad, I'm not planning on pressing anything at all for a good while. As long as it doesn't get worse over the next day or two it's nice to know I can get away with deadlifting anyway.

If I can keep the deads and squats going that's a bonus

Just getting a feel for it again felt terrible lol. Wrist never kicked in with the pain though so that's a bonus, there is underlying pain there all day every day though so it's by no means better.

Not feeling very optimistic after having the runs most of the afternoon, turned out quite enjoyable though!

Deadlift

Bar x 12 x 2
60 x 5
100 x 3
140 x 2
Add belt + straps for wrist
165 x 5 - pretty easy
175 x 3
185 x 2 - pretty hard. Harder than I expected it to be after the confidence the 5 rep set gave me.

Pull ups

Bw x 4
x 1 1/2 ? Lol

x 2
Haven't done these for months and months so expected to be racked off and racked off I was!

Shrug....machine......thing

Maybe next time go up in doubles and then try a 200?

a double rep at 2.5% under you 1rm is still pretty positive

I done a 200 a few months back mate. Was quite happy at the time because I hadn't deadlifted for two months then hit it first session back lol. Another month I'll go for 205 if not 210 :-)

Shoulder warm up

Keeping it light due to my wrist but this excercise doesn't seem to aggravate it so maybe I can get away with doing it. Keeping it strapped up tight. Will see how it goes when it gets heavier. Left it there for today didn't want to push it.

Log cleans

Quick warm up with 40kg log x 10
75 x 5
85 x 3
95 x 1
100 x 1

Another excercise not the best on my wrist, the first set hurt a little but seemed to ease after that. Left it at that for today so quite happy doing something with minimal pain.

I sometimes still write 19. as in 1978 or something..wishful thinking turing the clocks back!
Oh, and more squat=more deadlift,,, is my moto this year, so nice squatting yesterday
and..good to see someone else isnt afeared of big shrugs!
