At least you know it's coming at some point or another this month mate.

Something went in my back yesterday afternoon while I was doing absolutely nothing so haven't got a clue why. Been in a lot of pain since so took it very easy today.

Deadlift
Bar x 12 x 2
60 x 5
100 x 3 felt ok
140 x 2
Loaded 180 on the bar, stared at it for 5 mins, then took it back off.
140 x 1
Just didn't feel right at all

Lat pull downs
4 sets of 12,10,10 & 10 increasing weight

Seated rows
4 sets of 12,10,10,8

Rear delt flys
4 sets of something or other

Done.

I realise I neglect my upper back a lot, the only work it gets is from deads. Really need to catch up with the rest of my body,
So upper back assistance has got to start been done more. It's the only real place I get injurys so maybe that explains a lot too.

Just rest firstly, and then get some blood pumping through the back mate.

These niggles; it appears to me that sometimes the recovery is just in the lap of the gods.

Yeh could be mate. Just isn't enough hours in the week to have a lot of rest and still train efficiently in my view. Got squats Saturday but other than that nothing to stress my back for a week so hopefully be enough. If not then I haven't a clue what to do.
Sick of back issues!!
Sorry, sound like a right b**ch moaning compared to what your about to have done and how long you'll be out of training lol, just got goals, and they are been smashed this year one way or another! Grin

13/3/15 - Friday 13th, my lucky day so hopefully have a good one!

Squat
Bar x 12 x 2
60 x 5
80 x 3
100 x 2
120 x 2
145 x 5 x 4 was going to do a fifth but beens as though I'm meant to be taking it easy for a week I thought f**k it
Was playing around with hand width on the bar and got my back a lot tighter which felt good, but my hips felt looser as a result. Dunno lol

Leg extensions
Warm up set of 12
Then 3 sets of 10

Done. Lower backs killing, big quad pump lol

oh, ok. Then just skip 1 dead and squat session. This may help? Has done for me in the past.

Lol, I never do any ab work in all honesty. I looked at the ab roll out wheel in the gym yesterday at the end of my session and then looked away hahaha, too lazy

Left it there tonight no assistance work. Started for a new firm yesterday and I'm on price so busting my balls to make it pay, therefore absolutely f**ked. Proud of myself for even going tonight lol
