OK so started a power building program and one of the exersises is a back bench press I've never heard of it can any of you guys shed some light ???? Cheers

Possibly just means flat bench as opposed to incline , or maybe floor pressing ( benching with your back on the floor and no bench? To me the fact they say press and not pull rules out anything that actually targets back.

Not sure about ipf rules he he but as flat bench is the first exersise and this so called back bench press is third on the list....I'm thinking rows too. But not sure.

Why are you starting a routine if you don't know what all the exercises are? If you don't know that as a minimum how have you determined that it's fit for purpose, hence worth doing?

Some Russian programmes etc get translated funny. Where did you get the programme?
It probably just means bench press

Where does it come in the routine and what are the reps? That might give an inclin too.

If it's translated it could originally have been called 'Supine Press' or something, which might roughly be translated as the Bench Press we all know and love.
