Just to be clear when i said Ted Cruz was a massive c**t , what i meant was he is probably the best example of the worst kind of US politician who's whole existence is self serving and based around protecting the interests of his sponsors . His wife is a managing director at Goldman sachs so i seriously doubt his offer to work together on this is anything other than an opportunity to grandstand and gain some media attention which why turning him down flat was such a poor move by AOC. There is zero evidence Ted cruz tried to have her murdered , and if she had any evidence (which she doesn't) she would have taken it to the police and pumped it out to her tame media. She's taken an incident that is about the little guy being f**ked over by scum bags on wall street and made it all about herself it reeks of narcicism to me . Her job as a representative of the people is to work with whoever no matter how much she dislikes them for the betterment of her constituents. Having said that i'd still rather have a drink with her than Ted Cruz | ||

Sure some are crooks, or want shooting, but most act in fairly rational ways, even if those ways are not always clear. Lets agree on neither of us being right  I'm sure there are plenty of politicians who go into politics with the best of intentions , i think that exposure to power and opportunity corrupts most , particularly in the states where the whole system is set up to corrupt ( why else would ex presidents go on speaking tours at the end of their terms at $500000 a speech ) | ||
