Money in the bank with that session you old git.

Very solid, but you always seem to be with high %ages of your max.

Monday's session at Purbeck

Squats
  • 65K x 8
  • 85K x 5
  • 105K x 5
  • 125K x 3
  • 135K x 2
  • 145K x 2
  • 145K x 1, 1F
  • 105K x 2
  • 115K x 2
  • 115K x 2
  • 115K x 2
  • 115K x 2
  • 115K x 2

Groove felt good but strength wasnt there. 145s felt like they were 155s. So after failing a rep I just backed right off. BW has been 70K, so dropped abit of food to make weight for drug free divisionals in 2 weeks and its probably not helped. Maybe I just need a lighter week.

Bench (touch and go)
  • 62.5K x 8
  • 80K x 5
  • 90K x 3
  • 100K x 3
  • 100K x 3
  • 100K x 3
  • 80K x 10
  • 80K x 10
  • 80K x 10

2nd Monday in a row I have slept funny and hurt my shoulder (coller bone), very annoying. 100s were tough, 80s were fairly easy.

Sunday's session at Totton
Didnt want to squat tomorrow(monday) as I usually do so close to the comp on sat, so I decided to squat a day early

Squats
  • 65K x 8
  • 85K x 5
  • 105K x 5
  • 125K x 3
  • 135K x 2
  • 135K x 2
  • 135K x 2
  • 135K x 2
  • 135K x 2
  • 140K x 1
  • 145K x 1

Felt right in the groove today, 135s seemed to get better and better with each set, everything felt nicely controlled. 140 and 145 were both very comfortable, loads more left. Got 2-3Ibs bodweight to cut by next sat, this shouldnt be a problem.

finished off with lat and bicep work.

Bench (touch and go)
  • 60K x 8
  • 70K x 5
  • 80K x 5
  • 90K x 3
  • 90K x 3
  • 90K x 3
  • 90K x 3
  • 90K x 3
  • 100K x 1 (PAUSED)

100K Paused felt very snappy. I have RC problems in both shoulders at the moment, acromion is sore on my left and getting internal shoulder pain (left side) during bench. Getting pins and needles in my right arm (more so at night). Been doing lots of RC stretching and started doing some RC strengthening.

BDFPA SC openers 145/100/195, thats enough to qualify for the British.
