I know it's a BS thread... but wandering how much sleep do people get daily?

I always aim for 8 hours, and often do, but generally about 7 as will be the case tonight!

I've been getting about 6 or slightly less for the last 4-weeks or so.....it's taking its' toll to be honest. Unhappy

Does it affect your training? I know I can feel the difference when I've not had as much sleep.

As much as I want on my 6 days off work. Had 14 the other night! Grin

About 6 on a work night, and about 8 after a night shift.

I've been thinking about sleep a lot lately.

5 to 7 hours, 6 most nights. Then about 12 sat sun.

I don't actually think it effects my training that much but i do feel 'unhealthier' in a way than when i have more.

Funny thing is i could easily get 8 every night but wind up on Sugden at midnight annoying strong people.

(I wake at 6am)

5 - 8, if I get less than about 7 it effects how I train. I work from home a lot of the time though so I can sometimes get my head down for an hour during the day which can help a lot.

I don't think it particularly affects my training, but in general I think doing a set of 1-2 snatches is far easier than doing a set of deadlifts/yoke/farmers etc. I definitely enjoy the effects of caffeine, otherwise I think I'd struggle a lot more than I do.

I'm a student who works at a night club. Sometimes I don't get home from work until 4-5am and then have to be up for uni at 8. Then other days I catch up on my sleep and spend the day in bed ha.
