Hoping strength will fly up now as I put some weight on and get into strength training.Enjoyed the stones and I hope Tony is right in that they could be a strong event for me. Speaking of Tony , I'd like to thank him for letting me train in his garden and showing me how to go on. Hopefully I can repay him by beating boar in the comp. I took about £4 out of Sooty's bottom Member 685, 8719 posts SQ 225, BP 150, DL 290665.0 kgs @ 93kgs UnEq | Cheers Mr Small , I look forward to competing against you at the comp. boar, I seriously expect seshion on seshion progress at the moment, I really am weak as p*ss since my cut. Right this should be a laugh. I'm visiting a new gym today as it's the only one near me that has power racks or squat stands believe it or not. I've never really trained squats for any period of time and my pb was a one off attempt at Tonys last year. If I can work up to 100k for reps I'll be happy today. Short term I'm hoping for working sets with 140k although Tony says I should probably do fronties rather than back squats so this may have to wait. I certainly dont fancy trying to perfect my front squat technique on my first day in a new gym, I'm afraid my ego is a little too fragile for that. I will report back later.

I took about £4 out of Sooty's bottom Member 685, 8719 posts SQ 225, BP 150, DL 290665.0 kgs @ 93kgs UnEq | Cheers JC, really hoping stones is something I can hold my own on as it aint gonna be squats anytime soon. Youngy, thanks mate, are you competing in the mini viking comp ? strength wise before my cut my best deadlift was 180kx3 and I struggled with a 170k single at the weekend, saying that I never really trained deads before or during my cut. The best example I can give is that pre cut I was incline db pressing 48k db's and I struggled with the 35's on the last week of my cut. I know incline db press is what considered gay on here though so we'll say no more about that , lol. Squats 60kx12 80kx6 100kx4 Front Squats 60kx8 SLD's 60kx6 80kx6 100kx6 100kx6 Seated calvesx2 Standing calvesx2 Squats were just as bad as predicted strength wise however the movement itself was comfortable enough. Front squats felt horrible, really struggling to keep bar in position. Obviously not much work done but I really do want to ease into these, I cant be doing with wincing all day at work tomorrow. New gym has lots of good equipment. Squat rack Power cage Log Trap bar Big dumbells Once I get settled in I can see me training there more than my current gym.

Could make excuses all night haha would have liked to have done it though.

I took about £4 out of Sooty's bottom Member 685, 8719 posts SQ 225, BP 150, DL 290665.0 kgs @ 93kgs UnEq | Thanks to Tony for another fun ( sea of pain ) seshion. Deads 140kx3 150kx3 160kx3 170kx3 180kx3 190kx3 - PB Log 42kx3 62kx3 72kx3 82kxF 82kxF 74.5kx2 72kx5 Yoke 140kx20m 220kx20m - 40+ seconds Duck walk 50kx20m 103kx20m 128kx20m Incline log 42kx3 92kx3 102kx8 Very pleased with deads. Couldn't nail form on the log but the 72kx5 was pleasing. Yoke was a f*cking nightmare. Boar, I may have underestimated this event. Dont think the incline log was very similar to what we will be doing at the contest. Incline was a bit low and the log was fatter making for a smaller range of motion. Spent the best part of the seshion hobling about wincing and generally feeling sorry for myself due to lower back and shin pumps. I really was in a sh*te state. Going to have to bump up water intake and try some potassium and taurine. Cant have a repeat of that f*cking carry on. Got home and my usual training partner asked if I'd nip down the gym with him so I did and chucked in the following. Incline DB Press 25kx12 32.5kx6 40kx6 48kx6 55kx3 48kx8 BB curls 30kx3x8 Concentration curls 15kx6x2 Well I have to get my ghey BB stuff in dont I ! Actually really pleased with the incline pressing. Back up to the 48k's and beyond
