more epicness,

can i ask what plan your using for the 5/3/1 as on your working sets i use the method of 5's, 3's the 5/3/1 with all the last sets doing a rep out for max reps.

just curious into what method your using.

That's what i'm doing Neil, it was the excel programme you e mailed me last year mate. 5's week this week - 5 at 185kg, 5 at 195kg then all out at 207.5kg where today I got 10. Programmed fairly light so I can make nice slow progression. Previously when I've tried 531 for bench and overhead I programmed too heavy and stalled quickly - not this time!!

Thanks again for the spreadsheet Neil, its very helpful. Hopefully I've programmed better this time around, never run it for deads or 14" deads so hoping it works well.

After finishing various household chores I did another little session:

Log Cleans

80kg x 5

90kg x 2

30 mins on the clock

100kg x 35 cleans in 30 minutes

Tough as already fatigued but ground them out, nice bit of cardio. Back is properly fried now.

Skipping tabata to finish again.

I used to do those log simulations with a pair of 36-40kg dumbbells for 30+ reps... so i knowTongue

Liking the skipping.

Cheers Nick and my log cleaning is pretty poor so need more practice so when going out trying to decide what to do I figured they were a good bet.

Skipping pretty much finished me off. Looking forward to eating constantly tomorrow!

Forgot to note, after a week of hard training, increased cardio and plenty of clean good food my weights up 2 1/2lbs with same maybe very slightly lower waist size! Going well!
