4 hours sscv - tree cutting down, using an axe now!

Weight down another 1lb, i look flat as a pancake! near zero carbs for 5 1/2 days now.

I was Owen, adds to the veiw my neighbours have of me: walks with chains around neck, pushes heavy wheelbarrows about, beats the crap out of trees with sledghammers and now has a large sharp axe! With the bloodshot eyes the cold has given me i look pretty disturbed!

Still can't fully shake this damn cold, still coughing and still have a very painful throat, had it nearly 3 weeks now Unhappy

Ok i could have wrote it shorter but i grafted for this so let me have the long version! That was very tough, mentally as well as physically, the short rest periods were a killer and it took alot to keep getting under the bar and focusing on good form. Feeling very very strong considering i'm on zero carb at the moment. Totalling 37reps with 88% is a big pb for me and i'm really feeling it now. The 38th got half way and i fought like hell as i wanted to get to 40 total reps but i was totally spent. The first couple of doubles were snappy and i was considering getting 10 doubles but decided to push singles as hard as i can and i'm glad i did. I will move to 130kg next week and aim for 25-30 singles i think, my record is 132.5kg x 20 singles so that needs breaking soon. I would like 135kg x 20 singles, got 15 before now, just but would like a strong 25 singles then aim for 140kg for a good 15 then blow my 145kg max out of the water.

Wanted a few more but i had nothing left today.

Finished off with dislocations/distractions and lying L flyes and shoulder horns.

Great session, possibly one of my best ever press sessions, really going to feel this one i think.

I also had this before Christmas. But i was having decent training sessions. I reckon it was the Beechams Flu Plus

Yeah i've had it weeks now and its very reluctant to go and is bloody annoying. Like yourself though its thankfully not affecting training much!

Lol! Yes mate 2 sets of doubles thenswitched to 33 sets of singles. Was a tough ass session but wanted to push my theories to the limit, next weeks 130kg will be interesting to see where i get to!
