I've put these in my new system as i'm thinking quads are a major weakness in my power squat, my hamstrings and glutes are pretty good from the deads but i think quads could be the weak link. A max of 152.5kg is far below my normal squat PB so i think if i can build these up to 170-180 my proper squat should go up too. The 130's felt very light tbh but seeing as i've not done them for months i wanted to get form down. Nice slow steady progression from now ensuring i keep very upright and break at the knees first should hopefully start to see my bare knee power squat edge over 200kg, still crap but there ya go.

Finished with ab work and stretching and rolling pin to the quads.

Not bad today, lacking a little oomph, definately needing a backload now, very carb depleted and starting to feel it but not long to go now. Quads feeling very tight and sore already which i see as an indication they are a weakness, time will tell.

Well back from the tattoist and what was a simple extension has been changed to a full on tribal chest piece that links in to my shoulder and arm tattoo. I'm finallising the design the next few weeks with luck. Can't afford it all in one go so i'll get outline done for now i think or buy as much time as my current fund allows! Plans for later in the year for more on my other shoulder and arm! Getting addicted again!

Yeah i've done much defecit work in the past and its helped alot, just changing things up with some tng sets too.

Well i've done 9 days of phase 1 CBL and i'm going to backload tonight after training. I'm fully switched over now and weight has bottomed out and i have a big squat/deadlift session tomorrow and i don't fancy it completely depleted again so 9 days will do.

I've lost 7lbs in the 9 days meaning to fully replenish glycogen reserves i need 636g of carbs according to the book so i will be halving this amount for now and see where it goes. So on my backload days i'll be taking in 318g of carbs. Around 40g will be following training and the rest in 1 - 2 meals afterwards. Needing this tonight i'm looking very flat!
