 Taleban says his views on women are extreme Member 639, 3518 posts SQ 10, BP 10, DL 1030.0 kgs @ 10kgs Eq | Hello gents  just after some advice if possible, ive decided against getting the new i phone as ive had them for 4yrs now and im bored of the technology, and its useless for certain websites and mines knackerd now so doesnt ring the backs goosed etc...ya get the pointIve looked at a few phones recently ie Lg optimus 3D which is frankly just a gimmick and the Htc evo 3D same as above But i quite like the Htc sensation, 8mp camera full 1080p and core duo processor good for strongmam vids me thinks  Have any of you got one ? Any reviews ? Advice etc ??? Thank you | ||

normal people, like me. Member 2325, 550 posts | I've got the Samsung Galaxy, which I really like, but sort of wish I'd got the Orange San Francisco on payg. Others rave about the Galaxy II, and as far as spec goes I think it is supposed to be top of the tree now. | ||

 Hey mate, my name is Paul Dudley Member 632, 3628 posts SQ 200, BP 155, DL 282.5637.5 kgs @ 77kgs UnEq | If you just want a quality touch screen phone that is a capable camcorder for strongman stuff then you won't go too far wrong with a HTC Desire. I've had one for about a year now and i'm very happy, does everything I need/want it to. Probably get it for free and around £25 a month with a decent contract too now, so cheaper than the newer HTC's or any iPhone. | ||

Mine has fallen on the floor countless times, mostly onto concrete, and has been (gently-ish) thrown many a time, to only receive a scratch and no real damage. If there is some aspect of the software that you do not like, chances are that someone has already made a patch to change it (this applies for all android systems). Currently running custom software (with latest version of gingerbread (think Sensation's GUI and functions)), with an overclocked CPU(no slowdowns, at all), and improved camera function. I wouldn't upgrade it if I had the offer. I don't think that there is a need for a dual core on a phone as of yet, it is not like you are going to be doing anything strenuous on the phone. 3D, I think is just a massive gimmick, and not worth the money, especially on a phone. I'll get some gym footage on the phone tomorrow, so that you can have an example of the quality, if you want? | ||
