Wayne_Cowdrey said:Just been in the gym for the first time in AGES. If this comp was next week I wouldn't do very well, but I'll be strong on the day. In my current untrained state I can rep the front squat weight, so I'm happy about that. Log technique is absolutely diabolical Happy

If you can rep 160 with 0 training, you could rep 200 in no time if you trained properly.

There surely cant be any question about valdas being the favourite guys,

Max log
Front Squat
Arm O Arm
Stone

All four events that he will be top 3 on. Forgive me if you think im underselling the other guys but based on his performance at worlds you cant really think that someone who is simply stronger in the squat, bench and deadlift will beat him?

Does anyone else remeber when wayne went on for aaages about how deep he squated, then posted a video of a high squat.
Id imagine this is about the same.

Not really high, but high. After making a thread called 'sugdens deepest squaters' and naming himself as one of them

If you did rep 160 properly after not training then that is very impressive wayne

Cheque and entry form in the post Happy

I know it sounds a bit Derek-Boyer-ish, but any chance I can reserve an XXL T-shirt? It can be a bit of a 'free for all' at T-shirt dishing out time and, despite my small stature, anything smaller feels uncomfortable around my shoulders, and I'm very fussy about such things!!! Grin
