Concept 2: 500m 1:59 500m 1:51 - started quickly but slowed in the 2nd part 500m 1:59 Granted I had a lot of DOMs but this is a lot slower than I was getting on my home rower. The resistance on the C2 is certainly higher | |||

DB Shoulder Press: 20 kg x 8 30 kg x 8 35 kg x 8 40 kg x 8 40 kg x 8 40 kg x 8 The 40s were tough but pleased to have got them after such a long break. Stability was fine too. Skullcrushers: +30 kg x 12/12/12. Just easing into it Pullup: BW x 5,5,5 was cramping up so left it there, not worried about the poor pullups today | |||

First session in the gym High Bar Squat: 60 kg x 5 80 kg x 5 100 kg x 5 120 kg x 5 130 kg x 5 - belt 140 kg x 5 140 kg x 5 140 kg x 5 140 kg x 5 140 kg x 5 Felt heavy on the back and the traps don't have the thickness they used to, but coming out the hole the legs had no problem ![]() Deadlift: 100 kg x 5 140 kg x 3 - heavier than it should be! 180 kg x 5, straps belt 200 kg x 5 - would have had 6 but not 7! That was humbling, 200 felt like 230. I really thought deads would be stronger and squats weaker. I suppose I haven't been able to replicate deadlifts from home. Rowing Machine: 500m in 1:58 500m in 1:49 500m in 1:40 500m in 1:29 500m in 1:19 PB* * If my rowing machine is the same as concept 2 in terms of difficulty then these are some good times I'm getting now. When the gym opens up I will attempt to replicate the feat on a C2 machine. | |||

4.5 months since I trained in a gym :O Time to start journalling again as the gym is poised to reopen. Since lockdown I've been doing bodyweight exercises alternated with cardio on a rowing machine, with one rest day a week. Today: Weighted press up: +17.5 kg x 20/20/20/18/18 Pullup: 10 sets of 10 reps. 3 to 4 min break between Pullup variations: (wide, close etc). 6 sets of 5 One Leg Squat with a bag: 10 kg x 10 15 kg x 10 17.5 kg x 10 17.5 kg x 10 17.5 kg x 10 | |||
