just got PM'd Member 1945, 685 posts | lil session squat bar then all 5s 60 82.5 102.5 122.5 142.5 belt on 162.5 PB was hard, form went a little on the last rep bench every rep is paused, fully raw no sleeves or wrist wraps all 5s unless specified 42.5 52.5 65 75 85x4 87.5x1 two sets of bw dips for 5 bent over rows all 5s 50 60 70 80 90 4 sets of 10 reps with 20 kilo decline sit ups 2 sets of 10 reps with 20 kilo hyper extensions (paused at top) cuff 12 reps with 10 kilos stretch fin | ||

just got PM'd Member 1945, 685 posts | cheers now mate so yesterday did 12 miles with a pack was pretty easy but still counts today 1 hour of army circuits press ups, sit ups, dorsal raises, sprints, dips, crawls, burpees etc then mile and a half 2000m on rowing machine 5k on bike then i had finished work and did what i wanted to bench 45x5 55x5 65x5 75x5 85x3 65x8 row 50x5 50x5 60x5 80x5 92.5x3 70x8 squat 60x5 82.5x5 102.5x5 122.5x5 142.5x5 then belt on 165x3 then decided to try low bar 70x5 90x5 120x5 140x3 hmmmmm why have i not done this before all squatting from now will be low bar then dips with 5kg+bw 6 6 5 then curls 45kgx5 45kgx4 40kgx5 (this bar is 25kg apparently so basically bar plus 5 and 2.5 a side) tricep extensions 40 (or same weight as the last set of curls) for 5,5,5 then cuffs 10kg for 12 reps then stretch | ||

I'd also suggest you don't stop high bar squats. You're good at them, they help prevent "caving in" when low bar squatting, and for someone who pulls conventionally, they are an excellent Deadlift assistance exercise. Strong high bar squats equal strong deadlifts, I reckon. Nice training day, by the way! | ||
