Thought i would write a journal as im not going out tonight

Im 21 and weight just under 90kgs

Going in for Cheshires first timers in July so thats the focus at the moment

Went to the Ministry of Muscle to check it out as i was in the area

23/4 Session went like this

log

65x4
75x2
80 fail fail fail bang it on top of my head time for new exercise

wasn't happy with this as have got 80 before a few weeks ago but only for one rep.

Went on to tyre

100x8
130x6
350 failed this for ages then gym owner and his mate came over and taught me how to do it on the 130 properly which was sound of them then got
350x1
350x3
350x2

very happy with this very sore

Fingals finger

got it over 3rd time round happy with this never done it before

back to log

65x3
65x2

atlas stone 80kg to 48" easy for one then twinge in arm on second rep so sacked it in.

got pretty excited so didn't actually get down to it due to all the equipment like a kid in a sweet shop

yesterdays session

CG bench

5x5 on 72.5

happy with that came off chest fairly fast

squat

4x8 100kgs knees still wobbling and wanna go in when they fatigue need to think about how to combat this still

120kg x 6 belted drop set 100kg x5 knees were fine and that belt is well good

shoulder press no back support

5x4 22.5 (dumbells per hand)

bench

5x4 on 75 kgs

almost forgot massive rest and then got pb bench 92.5kgs

abs

weighted sit ups on decline

5x8 10kgs

next week increase weight on sit ups keep weight the same on everything else again look for more reps shorter recovery was gunna drop weight on squat to like 80 and do loads of reps to help sort technique and build muscle memory

monday 28/11

row 3 minutes warm up

7
6
5
6

clean and press

50 x8
65 x5
67.5 x5
72.5 x5
67.5 x5
65 x5

Deads

120 x5
157.5 x5
167.5 x5
180 x5
167.5 x5

Rows

80 x4
80 x4
70 x8
70 x8

8
8

Rotatory cuff and stretching then leave

Think session was too long, was thinking as i train shoulders 2 or 3 times a week might drop down to 3 working sets and not pyramid back down on them

Also lower back felt funny on sit ups so might just stick to roll outs and
weighted plank from now

Any thoughts welcome
