Tacky problem

Member 3754, 220 posts SQ 260, BP 190, DL 300750.0 kgs @ 112kgs UnEq | i use spider tack on stones and have used it in comps 3 times, worked great at the first 2 comps then at the 3rd comp all my tacky came off on the first stone in one go? since then when training with it i load one stone and all the tacky is gone off my arms no matter how much or how little i use! anybody else gad this problem and any solutions? never tried taping arms or using sleaves, would that help? cheers | ||

 never too old Member 637, 760 posts | Seems strange. How old is it? Ive had issues with tacky only when the stones or tacky have been really cold. | ||

Member 3754, 220 posts SQ 260, BP 190, DL 300750.0 kgs @ 112kgs UnEq | Only a couple of months old. its pretty cold in the gym so that might be the problem. i dont warm the tacky up i just get a big lump and hold it in my hands till it warms/goes soft then spread it on? | ||

Warming it up is ok for getting it on, but if its really cold it will just harden up again once it's on. Last weekend was the first time I've got my tacky to work properly this year. And that was with dave o's cold weather stuff. | ||
