Bench press felt absolutely fine, all speedy fast and no pain or discomfort whatsoever from the pec I've had trouble with lately. Another easyish session on Friday, then full speed again next week. I can squat to a high box without any pain or discomfort from my dodgy knee, so I gave that a go tonight. Nice wide stance and pause on the box, hopefully to help with both pulling sumo and squatting equipped. All sets were very easy, but I didn't want to push my luck and go heavier. Pleased overall. | ||

Full speed ahead with the bench again next week. I've got a number in mind for the competition in March and its going to take some work! Let's go! | ||

Shirt off 80kg x 14- PB! I might get a tighter shirt out of the cupboard next week and see what happens there. Box squats were easy. Happy with everything today. | ||

Conv SLDL 60kg x 8 100kg x 8 120kg x 8 135kg x 8 Shrug 100kg x 8 120kg x 8 130kg x 8 Barbell Row 60kg x 8 72.5kg x 8 82.5kg x 8 First single with 180kg that I didn't film felt great, then 190kg felt horrible. Then I completly forgot everything I was meant to be doing to improve my form on the attempted double with 180kg and failed the second rep. I feel it was an improvement on previous sumo deadlifting though. Not great, but I'm still certain big things will happen with more practice. | ||

It was actually quite tough on that side, piss easy for my left leg though. Pleased with the benching. | ||

When's your next comp? I've got a couple of other Rage-Xs, one which is one size smaller than the black one I've used lately and another which is like 3 sizes smaller. Might give them a whirl if I can get them on. Received an SK the other day, secondhand, but barely used. Might try that on Monday as well. Next comp is the first weekend in March. Might be bench only then, see how my knee holds up. | ||

Took a bit of getting used to, nothing got anywhere near touching until 130-140 ish. Then I started to get the hang of things and got the 150s and following 130s within millimetres of touching. Just need to get used to it I guess. Really chuffed to have doubled 150kg either way. | ||
